Youth Cabaret Show

EMPOWERMENT THRU ART IS:
3 fantastic, performance-based, FREE workshops for youth aged 7-25. All levels welcome! Three Thursdays in May!
Facilitated by MFA Students from Dell’Arte!
May 16th: Theatre of the Oppressed – Collective Empowerment using the theatre games of Augusto Boal. Connection, de-mechanization of the body, and revolution through theatre!
May 23rd: Expressive Movement and Dance. No dance background required! Explore your body’s ability to tell stories.
May 30th: Improv and Theatre Games. Come and play! Learn the basics of improv and laugh until you pee your pants!
Participants who are interested will have the opportunity to perform in a youth cabaret on June 2nd at Outer Space!
