Poetry and Fiction Readings feat. Lora Mathis

Lovers of wordcrafting will deeply enjoy this evening of poetry and fiction readings at Outer Space Arcata.

Writer and poet Lora Mathis will be reading selections of their work with Matty Terrones. The readings will be accompanied by both musical and visual elements. Adam Gnade will be performing talking songs and reading selections from his novels. Local poets Harvey Mitchell and Terruh will perform some original works.

Harvey’s Bio
“Harvey Mitchell is a 19 year old poet and stranger. He is a proud member of the Tolowa Dee’ni Nation and comes from the redwoods. He writes about adolescence, trauma, hope, and mostly love.”

Terruh’s Bio
“Home grown in northern California, where the redwoods meet the sea. I enjoy creating alliterated poetry that rhymes. My inspiration to write comes from my mothers poetry, nature, and the need to relieve stress.”
